The Ermani Bulatti brand, owned by the Dutch company Accessa B.V., was founded in 1984 by Herman Tiggeler and operated until 2012. Herman, along with Henk van Berk, were the visionary designers from the very beginning, with Herman's son Maurice joining in 1995. The brand's name itself is a playful corruption of "Herman" (Ermani) and "van Berk" (Bulatti - Birch, from Bouleau in French).
Ermani Bulatti jewelry is characterized by its Art Deco and Italian influences, resulting in beautiful, original, unique, chic, glamorous, and quirky hand-finished designs. They utilized very high-quality materials, including brass finished with a distinctive thick, oxidized, and polished silver plating for an antique effect, as well as bronze, mother-of-pearl, pearls, shells, crystal (mostly Swarovski), horn, and bone.
Produced by Accessa B.V. in Obdam, the Netherlands, Ermani Bulatti jewelry was sought after in the finest jewelry stores worldwide. While known for fabulous brooches and belts, necklaces and earrings formed the most significant part of their turnover. These elegant and classic designs are truly timeless, making them highly regarded and enduring finds for any collection.
A few important drops…
Our antique and vintage pieces have a story to tell. They've been worn, loved, and perhaps even been part of special occasions and cherished memories. These beauties have lived a life! Therefore, please don't expect them to be in perfect, brand-new condition. In fact, if an antique or vintage item looks too perfect, it's a bit of a red flag! We embrace the imperfections and signs of age that add to their character and charm. We invest in high-quality, unedited product photos that accurately represent each item. If you feel that additional angles, macro shots, or images with different backgrounds would be helpful, please don't hesitate to contact us via the form below. We're happy to provide more photos and videos to ensure you're completely satisfied with what you see.
